The Belgorod Region is a federal subject of the Russian Federation located in the southwestern part of Central Russia, on the border with Ukraine. The region is known for its rich historical heritage, unique natural landscapes, and developing tourism infrastructure.
The administrative center of the region is the city of Belgorod. The region's history is closely connected with ancient Russian events, including the famous Battle on the Ice, the Mongol-Tatar invasion, and the Great Patriotic War.
